Terry Schiavo: Pleas for Mercy Not Heard

I am perplexed at the backwardness of the Terry Schiavo Case. I am trying to understand how Terry Schiavo's feeding tube was taken out prior to all appeals being exhausted, for are not death penalty inmates allowed to live until all appeals have been completed. It is beyond me why the same mercy was not extended to Terry Schiavo. Common sense to me would state that more than a day or two without the feeding tube would cause further harm to the body that was partaking of nourishment. It is common sense to me that ordering the feeding tube taken out was violating the rights of Schiavo's parents to an appeal in the first place. For how can you continue to appeal for someone's life when there is no life left.

As for the Bush family, we all watched the first election where it appeared as if your opponent was winning in Florida, and our President George Bush faced the camera and said, my brother's governor of Florida, there's no way he's going to let me lose Florida. We all saw those ballots moving from the office of the Secretary of State in a Uhaul. with who knows who inside. Could the Bush's have done something to help Terry Schiavo if they wanted to. Hell Yes!!
