Follow Up Me:

I did graduate from college unfortunately it was not an HBCU but a predominately White Southern University that were strict adherent's to policies and guidelines. One thing I can say about the University I graduated from is that I could say and write about anything. I heard a lot from all sides, my university once boasted of having the largest chapter of College Republicans among all Colleges and Universities. I was a Political Science major so my classes were filled mostly with white males.

I had professors that were extreme liberals and extreme conservatives and some that were in the middle and I can honestly say I learned from them all. I suppose the biggest shocker was from one of the more conservative professors who taught Locke. He did a "damn" good job of teaching Locke. I have retained Locke! Another really wonderful history professor taught me about United States History not just from the point of view of Blacks and Whites, but added Asians, and Hispanics into the mix also; from the point of view of some, it was a really difficult class that involved lots of reading, daily position papers and an extremely hard exam but I learned a lot. While I did not have many African American professors unless a took a class about African Americans, and then I was paranoid because I was afraid that some of them knew about the incident at Hampton University. I cross registered at a local University and the way one African American professor treated me I could have sworn he knew about the incident, when it was my turn to present he even brought a friend along to see me present, which I suppose happens, but in a class of eight it was quite intimidating since he interrupted everything I said with harsh questioning, which I had experienced before, but he would not even let me get my point across. I suppose I should have taken a cue when the class began with six white males and every one of them dropped the class after seeing this professor. In any event, I had a really awesome African American professor in a sociology class that I took entitled majority minority relations, this was another class viewed as extremely difficult when taken with this professor but I can honestly say that any person who took a class under this individual could grasp the current immigrant situation now, as well as other issues affecting majority minority relations in various ways income, race, sexuality, etc.

Even so it took me a long time to graduate my foreign language of French and my science of Biology almost had me a college dropout which I was determined not to be 1) because I wanted to apply to law school and 2) because African Americans value an education more so I think than others.

I finally changed to a different science geology and evidently the department must have been using the book and their notes to teach from because there was material from the book on the test, not some information that had no general applicability to the general subject of the science itself as in biology; meaning what was on the test was general knowledge that most geology departments would put on a test.

In any event despite the obstacles which were more than I've written on this blog;

I graduated

When I was an entering freshman at Hampton University we had a seminar where one of the Deans told us something to the effect if you don't graduate from here you won't graduate from anywhere, well I did graduate from the third largest college in my state in a state with many colleges. I consider myself fortunate to have graduated from college period, but I value my degree so highly because it was an honest battle to achieve it.

Finally, I also took a film class at my college that was extremely difficult a friend had told me that he had taken the class and it would be real easy. My friend did not have the professor I had. Unfortunately the first thing out of this mans mouth was something about a screen guild test and how hard it was. Well we did not take the screen guild test, we took his tests and they were hard, his test was so hard that I did not just write down notes from the book but I literally wrote down everything from the book when studying for the test so I could remember and retain information and so my reading or note taking would not miss a phrase that he might decide to put on the test that I had missed. I don't believe anyone received an A on a test in that class. He may have curved for some but not for me. Finally his tests were so hard the "Asians" would come up to me after a test and we would try to remember what we had answered on particular questions to see if we had gotten them right or not, if our answers matched, we most likely got the questions right if not we had to wait until our papers were graded to see if we had gotten the questions wrong or correct.

In any event the article in which my name was mentioned in reference to a campus incident at Hampton University made it very important that I discuss positive experiences regarding my education. The University I graduated from was not all Roses but they had policies and procedures, as well as forms that would help you get problems solved.

Misfeasance, Malfeasance and nonfeasance

Many years ago when I was a policy debater and debated issues of policy for a school season, I had to consider the issue of removing nonfeasant, misfeasant, and malfeasant individuals who could not, would not, or just plain did not know how to carry through policies and plans that were passed as official policies. As we look at the Bush administration and their attempted dismantling of structures that have been running efficiently for decades, we must wake up and tell ourselves that the problem is not "our government" but the current presidential administration. When someone in the Bush administration failed to take seriously the warnings about terrorists before 911, the obvious breakdown did not happen in the secret service requiring the establishment of a new organization - homeland security, the breakdown happened at the presidents desk. When FEMA was not able to address the needs of hundreds of thousands of hurricane victims it was not the fault of FEMA workers but the fault of the Bush appointed FEMA head who was more concerned with his wardrobe and thought that CNN rather then state and Federal Sources was the place he was supposed to get his news about disasters from. The breakdown did not occur at FEMA it occurred when the president confirmed this individual at his desk. There is nothing wrong with America only the current administration in office. As long as congress allows duck soup appointees to keep getting appointed the duties of the government will not be done.

Wired News: Stumbling Into a Spy Scandal

Wired News: Stumbling Into a Spy Scandal:

"In December 2005, following The New York Times' revelation -- and government confirmation -- that the National Security Agency was engaged in warrantless surveillance of Americans' overseas calls, and e-mails to and from people suspected of ties to al-Qaida, Klein revised his thesis.
'But now it's been revealed by The New York Times that the spying program is vastly bigger and was directly authorized by President Bush, as he himself has now admitted, in flagrant violation of specific statutes and constitutional protections for civil liberties,' Klein wrote. 'I am presenting this information to facilitate the dismantling of this dangerous Orwellian project.'
Klein noted that only persons with a clearance from the NSA could enter this room.
Included in Klein's statement are snippets of wiring diagrams stamped 'AT&T Proprietary,' several photos of Room 641A in AT&T's switching center at 611 Folsom St., and copies of web pages showing that Narus had sponsored a 2003 conference where industry and law enforcement discussed internet surveillance and phone wiretapping.
Klein showed up at the Electronic Frontier Foundation unannounced in late January with documents in hand. At the time, the EFF was already preparing a class-action lawsuit against AT&T for allegedly turning over customer phone-record data to the NSA -- relying on reporting from the Los Angeles Times about AT&T giving the NSA access to a phone-record database with 1.88 trillion entries.
The EFF later filed an affidavit from Klein, along with the full wiring documents and an evaluation of those documents by a former FCC internet specialist, under temporary seal in U.S. District Court. AT&T has told the court it wants the documents returned, and both parties will argue their positions before U.S. District Co"

The above is a snippet from the wired article. The wired posting includes pictures of the spy room and a description of the companies participating in the spying. It states that at&T had this operation set up to spy on trillions of people. This is the most in depth of this discussion yet. The article also states that the Bush administration has taken full responsibility for it. The Bush administration has taken responsibility for doing so many covert and illegal things under the name of Al quaeda, I am beginning to question whether al quaeda actually exists and suspect that the destruction of the World Trade Center may have been an inside job. I am becoming more and more convinced that the Bush administration was in on the world trade center destruction. I think Bin Laden is propaganda. George Orwell States in his book 1984 that the populace participated in a ritual called the five minute hate where the governement would flash a made up enemy before the screen and the people would react for five minutes in hate and disgust, according to this book no one could ever find this enemy, no one could ever confirm the awful things this enemy did for sure this enemy was just hated and when his juice ran out they found another enemy.
As for Verizon and bellsouth stating they were not involved in wiretapping this is covered in double speak and another term in 1984, its been several years since I read the book so I can't remember all of the terms but its something to the effect of saying and stating one thing and then turning around and denying that what was said or done never happened, even to the point of going back and rewriting old documents. I think the process was so sophisticated that the people were even able to wipe someone's existence off the map to the point of that they were never born.

Finally my stand is this and I have to take one. I don't believe that Bush or the majority of Republicans have been fairly elected. I believe that this country has an innate value system with respect for justice, liberty, and equality for all. I believe the Bush administration is totally against what this country stands for. I believe it is a totalitarian government, justifying its behavior for close to seven years on one incident which is beginning to look highly suspicious. The question is did the "honest" "hardworking" secret service fail us if it was Bin Laden who destroyed the World Trade Center. The honest answer is no, the secret service presented the information to the Bush Administration, they chose to ignore the information that there was an imminent attack from al quaeda coming. I know of people who received anonymous calls not to get on an airplane during the time, it has been publicly stated that it was all over the internet that an attack was coming. The bottom line is our rights do not need to be taken away because the Bush administration failed to take the warning seriously, but the Bush administration needs to be blamed for the attack because they did not take action. To repeat myself, everyone did their jobs but the Bush administration. 1. The secret service warned Rice and Bush in a National Security Briefing that an attack was imminent 2. The bush administration ignored it. The bush administration has used this incident to come up with some pretty elaborate changes to our government structures which are frankly anti American and suspicious, when we still are not safe from some creative attacker.

At this point I am about to go on a tangent about this subject forgive me............Well maybe not.

IMPEACH THE WHOLE ADMINISTRATION

Finally, near the end of Bush's term one should tell love ones to avoid traveling in mass transit for the last year. We don't won't a tragic accident to take our loved ones away so that "they" can justify why our country still needs "them" or why a shadow government which has already been discussed after 911 and "they" may have already established it after 911 they've used 911 to establish a whole wish list of totalianariam activities, organizations, and structures.

Clowns

may take it too far and we may all realize they did it, They did it. High five to Cynthia McKinney, it was "too convenient how everything fell into place".

Black Hippy Chick in context

A family friend recently called my mother and called her attention to the fact that my name was in her local newspaper for an incident that happened to me close to fifteen years ago. I honestly thought that I had put my past behind me, but evidently I had not I was listed in the chronology of the article.

The subject of the article was the resignation of a prominent journalist Jack White former editor of the Nation section of Time magazine. White cites an oppressive environment to free speech and free thought at Hampton University as a reason for not returning. As a seventeen year old Freshman suspended from the University for something I said; I have to agree that the university has an almost pathological aversion to freedom of speech and free thought. However my wake up call did not come when I was suspended from the university for talking to a parent about the school, mainly telling her that her child would get a good job if she graduated from this university but her critical thinking skills would not be sharpened; but when I did a paper on Angela Davis and the professor begged me to do it on something else because she was afraid for me to write about such people at the University. For me it was a paper on a black woman - nothing more. Several years ago I developed an interest in the Holocaust and consumed every book I could about it, however that did not make me a Hitler wannabe. My paper on Angela Davis was a research paper on a woman, which did not just cite scholarly periodicals concerning Angela Davis but also cited popular press periodicals and newspapers. I refused to take back the paper. All of this was part of an atmosphere at Hampton University that would eventually lead to my suspension at Hampton University for something that I said for violating the principle of something to the effect of "performing acts incompatible with the interest of the university", on the Friday before Easter I was sent a letter to attend a hearing on Monday. My parent who had raised me, an alumnus of the university did not receive notice in time to attend the hearing. I was charged with discouraging parents from sending their children to the university at college day and talking to a parent during my work study at the university Museum. While there was a protest of University policies by other students the "now alumni" of the University I did not participate. I was in class. While I did not participate in protesting the university, I did run into the Dean of Education after one particularly nasty class period as I sat and listened to a big fat loud white woman attack Marc a particulars goodlooking black brother that she attacked every period. In my mind, I always thought she attacked him so hard because he reminded her of some black lover she had had in the past. In any event after one particular class I ran into the Dean of Education and took the time to tell him that I and other students were very disappointed with the education or lack of education we were receiving, I believe many students referred to it as a boarding high school. After this conversation everything concerning the university and dissatisfaction was dumped on me. Unfortunately, this was so far from the truth it was laughable. I did attend African Studies groups which was most likely the source of the protest but I was only in the audience, I planned nothing and had no interest in planning anything concerning protest in the University. I believe at that time my issue was South Africa and trying to plan a sister community for South Africa via the University. Over a break I had attended a conference at Spelman college where South Africa and organizing Sister communities was discussed. At the time that I was suspended this is a project that I was working on with a sophomore who was interested in doing the same thing. At the time of the hearing I was "expelled from the university and told to vacate the premises immediately and never come back. This is my side of the incident. After this incident I never thought of African Americans in the same light. I could now relate to Latin American Huntas and African despotic governments.

In order for anyone to understand the climate at Hampton University, and recent and not so recent events of threatening to expel a student for passing out literature in favor of sanctions on the Sudan, against gay bashing, and other issues. In order for one to understand a climate where an administration would get upset because their comments were not placed on the first page of a newspaper one must understand the debate between Dubois and Washington and the significance of two schools of thoughts as it regarded educating post and pre civil war blacks. Hampton University is the model for industrial education of blacks. The model taken further by Booker T. Washington which said that blacks did not need a classical education or develop critical thinking skills but were better of learning how to do practical things to serve white people such as iron, sweep, build, and teach. Booker T. Washington was heavily against the civil and Political movements for blacks to obtain equal rights with whites. As a matter of fact Washington was recruited to build Tuskegee a new school in the South because the Atlanta blacks were too much out of place of where some whites believed they should be and thus Tuskegee (industrial)was born, a place where blacks of the deeper south would know their place. A place where whites were worshiped and pandered to, a place where blacks created their own little mini-worlds where blacks were selectively chosen by other blacks in what became to be known as the Tuskegee machine.

In juxtaposition Dubois sat on a classical model of education for blacks which said that blacks could not live comfortable and well until they had civil rights which meant a classical model of education and the development of critical thinking skills which the blacks of Atlanta who had found their very lives burnt to the ground by jealous whites in the early 1900's because they were resentful of black success. Atlanta knew that economic and civil rights had to go hand in hand. This model I believe ultimately lead to the civil rights movement which resulted in equal rights for blacks. It is my theory that with the entrenchment of these universities which were not all run by other blacks, such as in the case of Lincoln University(classical) , the alma matters of Thurgood Marshall and Langston Hughes; that created a straight line to Martin Luther King, a Morehouse (classical) graduate who would lead the civil rights movement.

While a classical model of education did result in a civil movement that achieved civil rights for all. The industrial model and its strict attention to the needs of creating a company man are the right ingredients for the success of Hampton University. Hampton Universities president I can only conclude has a strict loyalty to the industrial model of education. Which Dubois on his death bed blamed Washington for creating the Jim Crowe south according to I believe an article that I read long ago in Atlantic magazine as it discussed going to Ghana and visiting Dubois who's words were "that damned Booker T. He took us back so far" The company man that Hampton aims to create now is an apolitical drone with set characteristics and mannerisms which actually works for some corporate environments. Furthermore admission standards actually have individuals entering who don't need to be taught much anyway, they already know what they need to know intellectually to be trained for anything. Hampton University makes sure that they are ready to enter the environments they are recruited for in terms of making sure they are apolitical and unoppininated. The even have a ban against braids and dreadlocks for men in their Masters of Business program which some would say is a good thing. However the point that must be made is that society is driven by creativity and companies that view blacks as something other than an affirmative action fulfillment should be concerned.

Finally I would like to say that the Alumni that I knew through my mother long ago were very concerned with the tactics being used by Hampton University. I remember years ago they were upset about a comment by the president of the university who said something to the effect of he did not care about high test scores and smart students but preferred someone who was malleable. I would also like to ad that I loved the students at Hampton University, while there is no intellectual stimulation in the classroom there is plenty on the campus among the students which is why the students continue to protest the lack of something on the campus. The policies of Hampton University should be of concern to everyone because these are the policies that allowed the Tuskegee experiment to happen. Finally I urge anyone who wants to know about the industrial model of blacks and its policies and tactics I urge them to read The Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. The difference is between A Martin Luther King (classical) and a Mole (industrial) in the King entourage that gives secret information concerning the civil rights movement to the government. These are the differences in the styles of education.

Finally I would like to add that there were senior students I talked to while I was there who I thought were crazy at the time. They would talk about advanced surveillance on campus electronic devices etc. They even said don't talk on the phones of the University they are bugged. At the time they were telling me this I did not believe it but I truly believe it now. I have experienced some of the craziness first hand and it was not pleasant. Something was done to me and it was really negative, around the time that it happened, Hampton university resumed their oppressive policies. They stopped for close to ten years after the incident with me.

I recently changed the address of my blog because my blog had been hacked into. The one article where it was noticeable was the blog entry concerning Berry Bonds. The end of the article was hacked. It disturbed me so much I decided that I could not take care of my daily life and monitor this blog at the same time.

I will resume posting to this blog under the address of blckhippychick.com.

"Klein worked in AT&T's San Francisco Folsom Street center until May 2004. His lawyer, James J. The South Park Tom Cruise Episode

I saw the Tom Cruise episode of South Park. My impression was that coming out of the closet referred to Tom Crusie being extremely egotistical. The part about R Kelley and John Travolta joining him in the closet was very strange but I honestly could not get a gay connection out of it, unless that's whyhe turned to his religion to be involved in that instead f admitting that he was gay. A big ol question mark for me? Not even harsh enough to protest. Will write some more later.

MCF: McKinney Classic

MCF: McKinney Classic Microwave Harassment and mind Control Experimentation

Several articles that I have read so far reference this article. I found the discussion of street theatre particular interesting. Can rude treatment possibly be someone attempting to prepare you for a mind control experiment? Are there groups pf individuals so willing to harass others that they agree to participate. I am highly skeptical that there are people like that out there, for if there are it means that Hitler's holocaust was not just some sort of exceptional warp of human nature but is deeply ingrained in many men' s characters. Can someone be so desperate for the things of this world that they are willing to torment others. I seriously hope not.

In any case conspiracies are always worth looking at. Especially since some have tried to argue that the holocaust was a conspiracy theory. The fact that someone even tried to argue that the holocaust never happened and it was a conspiracy theory is extremely bone chilling to me. From a recent PBS episode on the holocaust which showed that the Nazis ordered that the concentration camps be burnt down and records destroyed as the allies were advancing on the concentration camps leads me to believe that the Nazis may have actually planned to cover up the extermination of over 2 million people. If they could have, they may have actually argued conspiracy and said these people died during an allied bombing or some other made up story. In any event conspiracy theories to me should be treated like "where there is smoke there is fire"

I came upon this article about South Park being named person of the year after beginning to research mind control. The references in my children's cartoons and over and over in movies demanded that I go out and research mind control and what it's all about.
