John Lewis will throw his Super Delegate Support behind Hillary Clinton

As I was listening to the radio I just heard that John Lewis will be throwing his super delegate support to Barack Obama for president. He cited the wishes of his his constituents as being the reason. To reflect upon the musings of Hillary Clinton as the only presidential candidate who graced black Americans descended from West African slaves, who's ancestors contributed in building this country but who apparently won't have the first back president descended from this blood line representing them, which from my point of view will not serve to assuage American guilt for me for slavery, at the State of the Black Union. At this point I think African American's need reparations. In any event Hillary Clinton's musings were at the state of the Black Union were if Hillary Clinnton's super delegates abandon her because it's the will of their constituents, does this mean that Ted Kennedy is going to withdraw his support from Barack Obama because the will of his constituents was for Hillary Clinton to be president. Does this mean that if Maria Shriver is a Super Delegate that she will throw her California support behind Barack Obama because he won the state. You know it works both way's Hillary Clinton supporters can also vote people out even Ted Kennedy for making a living off of them but campaigning for a presidential contender that they do not want in office, MA has alreasy indicated that tehy will not be voting Devall Patrick back into office becuase of the terrible job that he's doing in MA. I suppose if they think that Old Ted is responsible for putting a president that they did not want into office they can not vote for him either. The word is, if there were anytime to challenge Ted Kennedy it is now becuase his constituents don't want his Super Delegate votes going to Barack Obama!

I think what needs to happen in all of Africa. they must take back their natural resources from the Corporationsn if only for a week. They must make a plan for how they can be self supporting through the vast natural resources they have. I think this would solve the leadership problem not just in Liberia but on the whole continent. If any continent needed to move towards one currency and one government, it is the continent of Africa. It is unfortunate that Charles Taylor's evil nature prevented him from working for good. Obama rethought

I always try to be as objective as possible and the accusations against Obama, mine or other folks that have been lodged against him have been disturbing me. The first accusation that he is not qualified is one that the more I think about it is frankly baffling. Obama is a Columbia grad, and a Harvard Law graduate. I am not focusing on the fact that he is a Harvard Law Review editor because the importance of that was greatly diminished for me after I visited their sad little website a year ago. Hopefully it looks a little better now that they have received some publicity. However Barack Obama's mother was also a member of a department of state while Obama lived in Indonesia. He was a community activist in Illinois and actually chose to be a civil rights attorney when he studied law. As for can he balance the budget, solve poverty, solve the energy issue, etc. I was a college student during and after the Clinton administration and one thing that I noted was that many of the books I read were written by folks in the Clinton Administration prior to the Clinton administration. These were professionals that had been acclaimed and given awards by people in their own fields.. These were the Clinton appointees if Obama is smart, if he becomes president he will follow the Clinton model, Appoint people who are professionally acclaimed in their field and know how to solve problems. I think one of the biggest mistakes of the Bush administration was not doing this, not appointing professionals in the field, but friends. This is why Hurricane Katrina was such a disaster. This is why the one truly qualified person in the Bush administration, Dr. Condoleeza Rice had to be everything. I thought that the Bush Administration had gotten over getting the VP Dr. Rice to respond to everything until we had an economic problem and they pulled her out again. Dr. Rice said she had no interest in being president but we are all aware that the legacy of being able to run for President and the heir to the Republican throne should have been Dr. Rice. However this post is not about Dr. Rice. This post is about Barack Obama and whether he is qualified. I think he is, I think he has proven that he is a leader and leaders know how to appoint qualified individuals. Finally I did watch part of The State of The Black Union and I have to state what the lieutenant Governor of Maryland stated I have philosophical and ideological differences with Senator Obama. I am against abortion and have been so for a very long time. I am especially opposed to partial birth abortion which has been outlawed. I also just don't believe that Mr. Obama is the same person that decided to be a civil rights attorney. I just don't believe that he is as committed to helping the poor as Hillary Clinton. With his attitudes towards abortion I am tempted to believe that he supports ethnic cleansing through abortion. However I can concede that it only takes the ability and willingness to appoint qualified people to be a good president.

My response to this blog is this. Obama is a great speaker and I never wanted to meet him until I went to his campaign rally and heard him speak and then all I wanted to do is shake his hand. Up close like within three to six feet Obama is does not possess rock star looks, he looks like a guru true, he looks like a professor true he's shrunken and bent. The pictures of him on TV just don't look like the same man. I say this objectively. I've stated on this blog that in SF one of my favorite past time was watching guys walk by because they are so hot in SF, but if Obama walked by me, I hate to say it I would not look twice, but he does have some staffers that I could look at all the time. Maybe Hillary should hire some good looking black guys to go give some parties and maybe she would get some more votes - yeah that's the ticket. Import hot black guys to college campuses in the remaining states and have them pretend to be interested in women that are only jet black and create a stir of desire for these men that can't be had. HA HA

A fox news anchor showed her sixth grader Obama's speech and she said her sixth grade son was actually shocked that Obama's speech was a mirror of the governer of MA, who by the way, MA is trying to recall him because he was umm all rhetoric and no action.

Was Obama's Use of Patricks's Words Plaigirism

You know I once volunteered at the Democratic convention, I was too young to vote and they forgot to send me a volunteer certificate though others did receive one, however everyday I would accompany an out of state delegate to the convention, so I suppose her word that I volunteered is good enough for me. I suppose the high points were seeing Ron Brown talk to delegates. He was a phenom.

However to me, the truly impressive part of the convention was the press area. It took up a huge area of the convention center. However the truly awesome thing about the press area was the fact that the area had printed speeches of the participants hot off the press. As an award winning extemporaneous speaker, as an award winning debater, the thought that what came out of my mouth was so valued really meant a lot. As a speaker who worked tirelessly and never accepted and never wanted help, and because of the strong warnings year after year against plagiarism by the teachers I respected very much. Year after year it was instilled in me to use my own words and I was afraid not to for the same reasons I would not cheat I was afraid that any repetition of someones words would cast doubt on my character and make me an awful person, the use of others works would make me feel little.

However to reflect on my school days, there were people who would retool a song they heard on the radio and turn it is as their own, the class would laugh because they all knew and this person's popularity and their popularity would rise, rise rise. This was the attitude in I suppose the general English class I was in, however it was a totally different story in advanced and AP, I think people took everything they wrote and they said seriously their was pride in making your words your own.

As for the charges against Obama, I think we all need to recognize that the Ivy League is just not what it used to be, or just not what it was. I understand that Obama transferred to Columbia, a school that I've respected for a long time, however the media behavior outside of the tight lipped PBS has been atrocious, and has made me lose enormous respect for the media profession, what Columbia was once famous for. I am convinced now that at least half of the press corp pulls out a napkin, sprinkles a white powder on the napkin and sniffs with the exception of PBS and the local news folks. In any event I am disappointed that a graduate of Columbia did not take borrowing more seriously especially since if it had never bee caught, history would have recorded the speech as Obama's . Obama and Patrick say that it does not matter ,it's unimportant. However, I've recorded my strong reaction to one of Obama's speeches on this blog and for me it it does matter. To think that any response that I have is gotten from me because of words that have been repeated over and over again by others is in the least disappointing. At most what it boils down to is I've been pimped. A junior pimp learns from a senior pimp the right way to touch their prey, what to say to them , when to slap them, and when to put them out on the streets. I suppose for Duvall Patrick and Barack Obama to say that "borrowing" does not matter really means to them the words that come out of their mouth are really "JUST WORDS" their respective campaign managers just found good actors to recite words to the point of winning an election, and for those of you accusing Hillary Clinton of borrowing, the rule I remember is repeating less than ten words is not plagiarism, so for the media reporting on Clinton, your mass media studies have failed you.

In any event I have to watch GO PIMP MY RIDE. You see Americans are used to being pimped and really like it.

If we are all pretending that is is not even a possibility that Barack Obama could use drugs this article totally debunks this myth. Evidently there are groups of political figures out there that use drugs. In terms of ethics I wonder if congress would require a drug test to run for political office, after all drug use is illegal or is it only illegal for the poor and the powerless.

Is it possible for one to serve our country in a political sense and be drug addicted according to one political wife it is. When I lived in San Francisco I ran into a people who were drug abusers, the very beautiful pan handler that told me that she had lost three hundred pounds from using crack, the extremely good looking man I met with AIDS who was a drug addict. My point is there are physical characteristics that drug addicts have especially male abusers, long and lean emaciated almost. It is my opinon and just my opinion that Barack Obama has that look. A caller on cspan once inquired whether the candidates would have a drug test. I would like to know if Barack Obama would have one or in the least give a lock of his hair for a drug test. Maybe his barber would give a lock of his hair doubtful but a thought. I say this to say that Barack Obama may have inherited John Kennedy's legacy according to Kennedy's relatives but he has not inherited the legacy of Dr. King. If you have any doubt about this, you should ask the children of Dr. King who have not taken a stance if they want their father's name associated with an admitted drug user and a believer and a supporter of partial birth abortion and Dr. King met the moral standard. I think the minister that Dr. King's daughter ministers at is supporting HIllary Clinton.

In any event the belief that a political figure can not be a drug addict and a politician is debunked by the above articles and I will publish the whole series of articles once I come upon them.

As the Democratic party has given a far left liberal on his own terms so much support. They are electing a man with so many of the qualities responsible for the problems in the inner city and some rural portions of our nation. The United States is showing the dichotomy between the poor and the rich with Obama's triumph. Obama wears a suit, publicly say's he has been a drug user and a gang member and becomes a major candidate in a democratic election. Sunshine, a 19 year old girl I met, a non-drug user, healthy and fit say's FUCK THE POLICE and ends up in jail. Someone, a younger person has asked me about Obama's being a member of the chum gang and whether he participated in drive by shootings. I had to think about his age and say no he probably did not participate in drive by shootings but the seventies was a time when he may have broken into someone's car or business and was a heavy drug user. I said to myself thank goodness that I did not have to say this man may have been a participant in a drive by shooting. However aif OBama is elected and goes on to become president I predict a huge rise in drug use and a huge rise in crime, and all those affluent whites who are voting for him, I predict a huge rise in Gates not Bill Gates but gated communities and the poor will be the ones who have to deal with the brunt of the fall out.

As an African American we have to face the facts that we don't care about the morlas of our leaders, and have to question if all of the Sunday morning church attendance is a facade for ourselves and not a real offer of service to a moral God who I know, my God is not down with third term abortion.

Is Britney Spears Crazy?

Predicitve - Several years ago I could have predicted a breakdown from Britney Spears. I would never have predicted it would be so public but Britney Spears can not even cough without the media taking note. I began to know there would be problems in Britney's life when despite her great beauty and awesome talent. The media began to imply that Britney could not keep a man. Every tabloid was filled with men who dumped her, Justin Timberlake did not want her. You know the drill. Several of the hottest stars have been though this, some to the point of having the media investigate their lives so throughly they had no choice but to end a relationship because the media revealed that their love interest was without a doubt cheating. If these individuals had breakdowns or cared the media never found out that much. I think the problem was so severe for Britney Spears was because of her youth. She has and had it all wealth, power, talent and beauty and was to some extent targeted and torn down by the media. I think what may have been just a break up as it relates to Britney Spears and men became on the media's part an attack that was essentially, SHE HAS ALL THAT AND SHE CAN'T EVEN KEEP A MAN. When the real truth is she was just dating as all young people do. Studies have shown that in order for a woman to really find her Prince Charming and someone she can get along with, she has to date extensively, not have sex with but date over 100 men to find compatibility.

However when Britney dated according to the media it was her failure, a lack of desirability on her part and the really sad part about this is she bought into this. It is my opinion that Britney defines or defined herself by her sex appeal. She failed to take the veil off of the performer and get in touch with her real self. The inner self that we should all have that says I don't care if I'm the fattest ugliest poorest person in the world, I still have a lot to offer because I'm me. I don't care if I never get a date, I'm still important and valuable. Brittney failed to have the above feelings for herself. I speak in the past but I hope that she will quickly come to grips with reality and realize there is nothing wrong with her except that she has been the victim of extreme envy which comes with stardom or fame.

In addition is Britney Spears Crazy because of other reasons? As Britney Spears is being portrayed, she just fell apart. POOF, she's gone for no apparent reason. However what no one bothers to say is that she was taken advantage of by her ex husband, not only was she taking care of her two children but I am sure she was taking care of his children by another woman also. This is expected however Britney really misstepped when she married a dancer form her dance team who had two children by another member of her dance team. I often wonder if Britney Spears was set up by these two individuals and she fell, and of course he had the magic number of children in Hollywood by Britney - TWO! I know she asked for the divorce but where was he when she text messaged the request for a divorce - in a strip club. You know the judge has been all over poor Britney but has failed to acknowledge Federline for the calculating creep that he is. However just because Federline took advantage of Britney Spears does that make her less of a woman? Does that make her undesirable? Heck No! It just sheds light on the fact that she has not gotten in touch with her inner woman.

If I had a prescription for Britney, it would be that the superstars male and female would try to connect with her, Angelina Jolie has changed Brad Pitt and Clooney, I bet she could change Britney, Angelina Jolie was smart enough to know how to get out of a bad marriage quickly three of them. . Erykah Badu has written about Tyrone. Hallie oh Hallie has overcome. Britney you must stop defining yourself by how others treat you and be your own woman. Finally if anyone has any doubt as to what I have said we can look at the first viable female candidate in the race. I think she's doen outstanding things, played by the rules, lead a clean life and done wonderful things with her life and the media can only characterize her as a Bitch. When the race began I was extremely perplexed about this. I googled why do they call Hillary Clinton a Bitch and could not find one convincing answer, but if Britney needs a role model and needs to know that she can withstand attacks on her just because she has tried to be the best she can be, she need only look at Hillary Clinton and know that she can get up and be the person that she's been since she was a small child a strong individual.

I am a single mother and I consider myself very tolerant however Mitt Romney really got my goat up. He would endlessly recite statistics of families without fathers and how their offspring were at risk and against American culture. When he first came out I thought what a nice family however by the end of his campaign all I could do is gag, literally stick my finger down my throat in disgust. I think the tolerance he expected from all of us in his being a Mormon he was unwilling to give. All of this talk about American culture that even during his pullout speech was one big FLIPFLOP in regards to his life. He grew up in a polygamous family, since when has polygamy been part of this culture. We don't even know if he's married to a relative or not. The only thing that he seemed to be standing up for as far as I was concerned was the trailer. I vote both ways and let me tell you , my vote would have never gone to him. Through his own fault he lacked mass appeal. He received the same intolerance he gave. I am so happy he is out of the race, I really feel bad that he spent all of that money to lose but he should have realized that this country does not want an intolerant bigot for president, Finally for all of his talk about broken families he failed to realize that a lot of families in this country are broken and they are doing the best they can, as for children without fathers they have been around in the United States and elsewhere since the beginning of time especially when abortion was not an option. I could say a lot about what i thought when I found out he came from a polygamous family but he can probably guess what it was, because the same way that he spoke against children without fathers is a little better than what they say about people who participate in polygamy. Where has he been for the last century in a polygamous camp or something.

In modern popular culture the Kennedies and the world must realize that the legacy of Camelot was claimed by Bill Clinton and his wife. Hillary Clinton has to be characterized as a revamped Modern day Jackie Kennedy. Bill Clinton had the gift of solving problems such as the national debt, high unemployment, etc. While Hillary was and is extremely educated, written about in Time magazine as a leader to watch while in college, as was Jackie Kennedy was written about in I think Vogue. However Clinton is a very much evolved Jackie. Many have questioned whether Jack Kennedies Pulitzer Prize book was written by Jack or were they actually written by Jackie which essentially means Jackie had a brain. However Hillary Clinton has taken it a little further and said I'm not pretending to be anything. It's ok for me to be smart, to be ambitious and be may self and now she's running for and winning the most votes for the presidency. This is groundbreaking!

Obama Slipped in Through the Back Door of My Mind

As everyone knows I have switched to being a Hillary supporter. As I dozed off looking at the primaries, I suddenly began to heard beautiful words. I heard a message of hope of beaty of love. I woke up and it was Barack Obama speaking. My kids hadd fallen asleep with me in the living room and I said wake up kids, listen to this, it's Obama. I've switched Obama's words are so beautiful, I'm going to vote for him in the general election anyway. I was just committed I hollered he's got me in my sleep. In my sleep I heard "there is a a man that works in a steel mill that worries about his child's education" who only wants a good education for his child-----beautiful I thought. I keep hollering tomy children I don't care I'm going to vote for this man. I don't care! Then I have to shake myself awake. First of all I think of the last time I was moved by Barack Obama, I had been a hardworking grassroots volunteer and people would say I have a free ticket to this don't you want to go see him, don't you want to go to Selma to see him and oppurtunity upon oppurtunity,would be offered and I would say no, and then I heard him speak in person and all I wanted to do was shake his hand, touch the hem of his garmet etc. etc. "Jesus" and he could not shake my hand. I thought about Hillary and Bill Clinton and how the "KEEP THEIR PROMISES". I thought about the women in Chicago tenaments who would call Barack Obama's state senate office and say we are cold, we are cold and his staff never responded. I thought about his ardent support for partial birth abortion, I thought about a lot and finally I came to the conclusion that no matter how much I am moved, no matter how many tears come to my eyes. All OBama is speaking is words, as for being a community activist, what did that mean to him, what did he do. It's nice to talk about being a community activist but what does that mean to me? Does that mean securing a two dollar job? Does that mean trying to pidgeon folks into a certain group or class. I respect the fact that Obama says that he was a community activist on the Sounth side of Chicago but I also recognize the class divide he's speaking of, condescending yes! I trust Hillary Clinton. It is my personal belief that her husband's administration fueled the internet revolution by releasing the funds nescessary, his admistration provided real jobs to everyone, not nickel jobs but make a living jobs. I think Hillary Clinton will be true to this she will allow all people to be what they want to be. At this point I don't see the wheels of class turning in her mind! She has freinds and she supports them, but she makes many new friends and she provides oppurtunities for them also. I am firmly for Hillary Clinton and I will stay there. There may be back doors to my mind, but the rule is the front door, and what comes through the back must walk out the back and reenter through the front. Finally if Barack Obama wins which judging by the reaction of my brain he might, that's great but unfortunately I probably will stay home or possibly vote for someone else. Let me tell you a story that moved me.

Huckabees wife was speaking, the words were not ellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllloquuted but or ennnunnnnnnnnnciated but this is what she said, she said when Mike and I were first married I did not have a washing machine and dryer and I had to go to the laundry mat. Mike was so upset about that the he sold his guitar collection that he dearly loved to buy me a washer and dryer so I did not have to leave the house to wash clothes. She said some other things, after I first got married I came down with Cancer and I was so sick, I thought Mike was going to give me back to my mother but he nursed me back to health and stood by my side. She said some other things that were ACTION oriented and I cried too. Finally for me Mccains secret weapon is his wife. She wears the most beautiful clothes, her fine leather bag match her fine leather boots, her beautiful suits and elegant hair. McCains wife is such a beautiful fashion plate and we could see her representeing us well in terms of dress. I think Mrs. Mc Cain would take the Jackie Kennedy legacy seriously and for those of you who do not know Camelot was the name given to the JFK adminstration by Jackie Kennedy becuase of the style and grace brought to the white house. Jackie renovated the white house, made Georgetown popular, and her attire and mannerisms was imitated. Camelot was not just about JFK. I have a lot of respect for Mrs. Obama, I appreciate Barack Obama's choice and the picture on the revamped website of Obama's family is just gorgeous I think she looks really nice when she concedes to what's right for her body and wears athletic clothing and long lines but she ain't no Jackie and I'm not holding it against her, but if you want to call up old legacies let's be fair, let's be fair.

A Conversation with the Dwmocratic undecided

Several weeks ago I met with two democratic undecided friends, their response to Barack Obama as president was pretty interesting. We started talking about the issues. First we discussed Obama's drug use and one of my friends had a pretty interesting reaction, my very responsible friend pretended to roll a blunt and said oh yeah I like marijuana. Since I am not a drug user I was shocked, I said he did cocaine. My friend said COCAINE! I didn't know he was a cocaine user. We also went on to talk about abortion and we all agreed that the democrats were pretty awful for doggedly hanging on to abortion but we were voting democrat for a variety of reasons: the war, the extreme high price of gas and the economy. Finally we discussed Obama's views and his dogged support of partial birth abortion, even to the point of Michelle Obama writing a letter calling the procedure a simple medical procedure between a woman and her doctor. As one of my friends and I continued to talk about this isssue the other friend was doing a slow simmer until this friend hollered loudly "He's a Baby Killer" I kid you not on this we literally had to calm this person down. We continued to discuss this and it was wondered aloud if the Obama's were such ardent supporters of third term abortion because they had participated in the procedure at some point in their lives. I think the overwhelming consensus was that Hillary Ckinton would not participate in a procedure like this!
